A few days ago I got the opportunity to meet pastry chef, Christina Tosi, and celebrate the opening of the tenth Momofuku Milk Bar, which is also recognized as the first in the west coast! The famous bakery is set to be opening this week at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas amongst other trendy and innovative dining experiences.

Milk Bar is one of those places that come up in a “good eats NYC” type Google search. I’d say it’s pretty popular among foodies alike. Known for their naked cake style, cake truffles, cereal milk flavored goods, and crack pie, Milk Bar has some of the most instagrammed desserts in America.
I wouldn’t think much convincing is needed for checking out the legendary Momofuku Milk Bar, but in case you were wondering what makes the new Las Vegas location so unique, here are a few inside scoops:
Among other things, that crack pie is pretty addicting. Also, the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, where Milk Bar is located, is in one of the hottest hotels on the strip being the home to Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub as well as the Wicked Spoon Buffet. LA’s Eggslut and NYC’s Beauty & Essex recently opened this year too! In other words, the Cosmopolitan is a hot spot, and this addition of Momofuku Restaurant and Milk Bar is going to make it even hotter as both, a culinary destination and a true Sin City scene.
Clearly, the Cosmopolitan may be one of my favorite hotels in Las Vegas. Would you agree or do you have other favorites? More importantly, have any of your favorite restaurants migrated to Las Vegas that we need to know about? Please share in the comments below!
